Returns, warranty and refunds

What you can send back, what we cover, and how money gets back to you. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you buy rather than after.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to send back a machine you haven’t used. Unused means it hasn’t been powered on. We can see run hours on the control board, so this isn’t a judgment call.

Send it back in its original packaging with everything that came in the box. Packaging matters more for a miner than for most things. These are heavy, and a unit that arrives damaged because it traveled in a bin bag isn’t a return we can accept.

  • Return shipping is yours unless the machine was faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered. In those cases it’s ours and we send the label.
  • Change-of-mind returns carry a 10% restocking fee, taken off the refund. A returned unit has to be re-tested and listed again as open box.
  • Once it’s been mined on, the return window is over and the warranty is what covers you.

We approve refunds within two business days of the machine arriving back and passing inspection, and send them the same day they’re approved.

How a Bitcoin refund is worked out

We send back the same number of satoshis we received. Not the dollar value on the day you ask. If you paid 0.0062 BTC, a full refund is 0.0062 BTC, whatever that’s worth by then.

This cuts both ways, which is why we do it. We don’t keep the upside when the price runs, and we don’t ask you to cover it when the price drops. Fees and any restocking deduction come off that figure.

  • Refunds go to the refund address you gave at checkout. Use a wallet you control. An exchange deposit address is how refunds get lost for good.
  • You get the transaction ID on your order page the moment we send it, so you can watch it confirm yourself.
  • Sent more than the total by mistake? The difference comes back the same way without you having to ask.

Warranty

Every machine carries a 90-day warranty from the delivery date against defects in materials and workmanship. It covers the hashboards, the control board, the power supply and the fans.

If a unit arrives dead or fails within 30 days of delivery, that one is on us end to end. We pay shipping both ways and replace or repair it. Every machine is bench-tested under load before it leaves, so this is rare. It still happens, and when it does it isn’t your problem to solve.

After that first month and inside the 90 days, we repair or replace the faulty part and cover the return leg. You cover shipping to us. Turnaround depends on parts. We’ll give you an honest estimate rather than an optimistic one.

A repaired or replaced part carries whatever is left of the original 90 days. Repairs don’t restart the clock.

What ends the warranty

None of these are traps. They’re the things that actually kill mining hardware, and every one of them leaves evidence we can see on inspection.

  • Immersion or hydro conversion. Dunking an air-cooled machine voids it immediately, whatever fluid you used.
  • Overclocking or undervolting past the manufacturer’s spec, and third-party or modified firmware. Both are logged on the board.
  • Power damage. Wrong voltage, no surge protection, unstable generator supply, or a PSU we didn’t supply.
  • Environmental damage. Water, condensation, salt air, smoke, or dust from running without filtration in a hostile space.
  • Physical damage, opened hashboards, or a removed serial sticker. If we can’t identify the unit, we can’t warrant it.
  • Consumables and wear items: fan bearings past their rated hours, thermal paste.

Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have where you live. Where local consumer law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.

Shipping and pre-orders

Shipping is charged per machine and added at checkout. Tracking shows up on your order page as soon as the unit leaves us. Risk passes to you on delivery, so damage in transit is ours to sort out. Tell us within 30 days and keep the packaging.

A pre-order is a reservation on hardware still in production. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your unit ships. Once it ships it becomes a normal order, and the returns and warranty terms above apply from delivery.

We ship to the United States and Canada only. Shipping inside the US is free; orders to Canada are quoted at checkout before you commit, so the BTC total you lock in is the whole bill.

Import duties and taxes on orders to Canada are the buyer’s responsibility. We don’t under-declare shipments.

Starting a claim

Open your order page and reply on the order, or message us on Discord with your order number. Tell us what the machine is doing, what you’ve already tried, and send a photo of the sticker and the error if there is one. That first message usually decides whether this takes two days or two weeks.

These terms apply to orders placed from the date shown on your order. We may change them for future orders, never for one already placed. See also our ordering and setup guides.
